11am – 6pm
My home studio: 89 Buckhold Road, Wandsworth SW18 4AT
I started in 2014, and finally finished it in 2017. But these things are never really finished, and last summer I redid my storage area as the corrugated plastic had started to crack and leak and mice, squirrels, rats and wasps all thought it was a nice dry place to hang out! So I’m still in the process of creating a second green roof.
Two sculptors known for public art exhibit smaller works in a home studio. Bronze, Rammed Earth, Cob, Charcoal explore science & the human condition.
I’m delighted to be opening up for WAOH and showing alongside Diarmuid Byron-O’Connor, a fellow local sculptor whose work you might know – he created the Peter Pan statue outside Great Ormond Street Hospital. Diarmuid is a figurative sculptor primarily working in bronze, known for his public art works and large commissions. His personal work explores the drama the human body generates and our response to experiencing it.
Diarmuid will be taking over my living room in the house, and I’ll be in the studio. I’ll be showing wall hanging and free standing sculptures as well as some mini sculptures in the form of pewter jewellery.

Now in its 20+ year, this artist-led event sees over a hundred artists and makers opening their homes, studios and local businesses across the borough over the first two weekends in October. It’s a wonderful opportunity to see work in progress, meet artists in a relaxed setting, and discover the incredible creative talent right on your doorstep. Free and family-friendly – perfect for a weekend art trail!
The full event runs: Sat 4 & Sun 5 and Sat 11 & Sun 12 October, 11am – 6pm
Note: My studio is open the first weekend only (4-5 October).
