Parent and child hands
You can get a cast done of you and your child holding hands. These castings are unique works of art and capture that tender moment of a tiny baby holding its mother finger, or the vast difference in scale between a father’s big hand and a child’s little one.
Alternatively you can also get a cast of you holding your babies foot.
The above cast is a father with his one year old son and has the silver effect finish. The below cast is a mother with a 10 week old son’s foot, and is in the classic dark bronze finish.
Two casts are taken as there is a degree of gamble with this sort of casting, and it is often hard to predict how the work will come out. You can combine this with a session to cast baby hands and/or feet, although the session might go a bit beyond the usual two hours.
A cast of an adult and baby or child hand costs £450. If both casts come out, you will be offered the second one for £250.
All prices include a home visit to take the casts, free engraving and delivery of completed artworks in Central, West, SW or South London. If you are further afield I am happy to do casts but will need to charge additional travel and costs or you can visit me in my Wandsworth studio.
