Introducing this new Serotonin Sculpture. I have long been meaning to make an artwork about this amazing chemical. Serotonin is sometimes known as the happiness chemical. But it is involved in so many more functions in the brain and body. Explore the drawings behind the sculpture to find out more.
The chemical itself is made up of human figures connected together by their arms and legs. This alludes to the way we all come together in communities to support each other and achieve more than we can on our own.
Serotonin is currently on view at Gallery Pangolin in Gloucestershire.
